RECIPE FAQ’S
Q. WHAT KIND OF TEQUILA SHOULD I USE IN A FROZEN MANGO MARGARITA?
A. Blanco (silver) tequila is ideal because of its crisp, clean flavor. We love to use Sierra brand for our margaritas. Avoid aged (añejo) tequila, as it may overpower the mango flavor.
Q. DO I NEED TRIPLE SEC FOR MARGARITAS?
A. I highly recommend adding the triple sec or Cointreau to your margaritas! Triple sec is an orange liqueur that adds a lovely citrus flavor to the cocktail.
Q. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A FROZEN MANGO MARGARITA AND MANGO DAIQUIRI?
A. The difference between any margarita and a daiquiri is that daiquiri’s have rum instead of tequila! Although they have a very similar citrusy taste, margaritas originated in Mexico and daiquiris came from Cuba.
Q. WHAT IF I DON’T HAVE TRIPLE SEC?
A. If you don’t have triple sec, Cointreau or Grand Marnier works beautifully for a slightly richer, more complex flavor.
Q. Is there a way to make THIS MARGARITA spicy?
A. Yes! Add a few slices of fresh jalapeño or a dash of cayenne pepper to the blender for a spicy kick.
Q. CAN I USE OTHER FRUITS INSTEAD OF FROZEN MANGO?
A. Yes! Feel free to experiment with the ones you prefer, such as, frozen strawberries, frozen pineapple or frozen raspberries.
