Mango Margarita

Mango Margarita - Here comes the Sun in a glass - Mango Margarita cocktail! This easy frozen margarita has all the summer vibes and is the perfect party margarita for a crowd.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups frozen mango, diced
  • 3 oz silver tequila
  • 1 oz triple sec
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • 1 oz simple syrup
  • Tajin, for rim
  • additional lime and a lime wheel and mango slices, for garnish (optional)

Method
 

  1. Pour Tajin on a plate. Then, cut a lime into wedges and rub the wet part against the rim of the glass in a circular motion. Dip the glass upside down into Tajin and carefully press down. Set aside.
  2. To prepare the frozen margarita mixture add the tequila, frozen mango, triple sec, lime juice and simple syrup to a blender or food processor. Blend for about 30 seconds or until the mix is smooth.
  3. Toss in a bit of crushed ice and give it another blend – until extremely smooth. Blend until the there are no ice chunks left.
  4. Pour into the prepared glass and garnish with a slice mango and a lime wedge.
  5. Serve them immediately.
