Prep Time 5 minutes
Total Time 5 minutes
Servings: 1
Course: Drinks
Cuisine: England

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Vanilla Vodka
  • 1 oz Passoa (passion fruit liqueur)
  • 1 oz Passion Fruit Puree
  • 0.5 oz Passion Fruit Syrup (or Vanilla Syrup)
  • 1 oz Pineapple Juice
  • 0.5 oz Lime Juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1/2 Passionfruit (for garnish)
  • 1 oz Prosecco shot (served on the side in a shot glass)

Method

  1. Place a martini glass in the freezer or fill it with ice while you prepare the drink.
  2. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine vanilla vodka, passoa, passion fruit puree, passionfruit syrup, pineapple juice, and lime juice.
  3. Shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until the mixture is well chilled and frothy.
  4. Empty the martini glass if chilled with ice.
  5. Strain and pour the cocktail into the martini glass.
  6. Place half a passionfruit (flesh side up) gently on top of the cocktail for an elegant presentation.
  7. Pour 1 oz of prosecco into a shot glass and serve alongside the martini.
  8. Serve!

Notes

I do not recommend batching this cocktail as the shaking in a cocktail shaker helps emulsify the ingredients and develop the flavor profile.
For the ripest passion fruits, opt for wrinkly, deep purple fruits - smooth or green ones will be unpleasantly sour. In a pinch, skip the fresh garnish and use frozen passion fruit for the recipe.
Can't find passion fruit puree? Grab some frozen or fresh passion fruit and puree it for this recipe or use Pineapple Juice or Puree
