Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 oz coconut rum
  • 1 1/2 oz pineapple juice, canned or fresh
  • 1 1/2 oz cranberry juice
  • 1 cup ice
  • one Maraschino cherry and a lime wheel, for garnish (optional)

Equipment

  • 1 15 oz high-ball glass
  • a long stirring spoon

Method
 

  1. Fill a high-ball glass with ice and add the pineapple juice followed by the rum.
  2. Place a small spoon, flipped upside down, into the glass at an angle just above the Malibu rum.
  3. Slowly pour the cranberry juice onto the center of the upside-down spoon so that it layers on top of the pineapple juice and rum.
  4. Garnish with a lime wheel and Maraschino cherries for a prettier presentation, serve and enjoy!
