Ingredients
  

  • 4 oz lemonade
  • 2 oz vodka
  • 2 oz blue curacao
  • 2 oz grenadine
  • Maraschino cherries, festive straws, for garnish (optional)

Equipment

  • 1 12-14 oz glass
  • a cocktail shaker

Method
 

  1. Create the red layer by adding the grenadine to the bottom of the glass before filling it with ice.
  2. Fill the glass 3/4 of the way full with ice.
  3. Add the vodka, Blue Curacao liqueur and lemonade to a cocktail shaker. Gently shake for a couple of seconds.
  4. Create the blue layer by steadily pouring the spiked lemonade over the ice.
  5. Garnish with red white and blue straws, Maraschino cherries and a flag. Serve and enjoy!
