4th of July Cocktail
4th of July Cocktail - This layered red white and blue cocktail is the most patriotic way to get the 4th of July party started! This patriotic vodka cocktail is perfect for a festive and fun party drink.
Equipment
- 1 12-14 oz glass
- a cocktail shaker
Ingredients
- 4 oz lemonade
- 2 oz vodka
- 2 oz blue curacao
- 2 oz grenadine
- Maraschino cherries, festive straws, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Create the red layer by adding the grenadine to the bottom of the glass before filling it with ice.
- Fill the glass 3/4 of the way full with ice.
- Add the vodka, Blue Curacao liqueur and lemonade to a cocktail shaker. Gently shake for a couple of seconds.
- Create the blue layer by steadily pouring the spiked lemonade over the ice.
- Garnish with red white and blue straws, Maraschino cherries and a flag. Serve and enjoy!
